About the Role
As a Cabinkeeper at Postcard Cabins, you will play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences by ensuring every cabin is clean, comfortable, and guest-ready. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, have an eye for detail, and find satisfaction in preparing comfortable, thoughtfully maintained cabins.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare cabins, patios, and public spaces to brand standards.
- Make beds and replace linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, furniture, windows, floors, and fixtures.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all cabin areas.
- Inspect cabins for cleanliness, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.
- Report maintenance issues and damaged or missing items promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment, carts, laundry, and supply inventory.
- Provide friendly, courteous service while respecting guest privacy.
- Help maintain the overall appearance of the property.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, resort, vacation rental, Airbnb, or residential cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Safely use cleaning equipment, ladders, and cleaning products.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
