About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to ensure the quality and durability of concrete surfaces. Your attention to detail and precision will be essential, working closely with the construction team for timely project completion.
Responsibilities
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints.
- Monitor the curing of concrete and perform finishing operations when ready.
- Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.
- Direct the casting of concrete and supervise laborers who spread it.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8–12 hours/day).
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to hear instructions and warnings in a noisy environment.
