About the Role
We are hiring analysts and engineers to provide Level 3 technical support and development for PRIIP Cloud, our central application platform for WSD. This platform generates regulatory documentation and data outputs for structured products and OTC derivatives. You will support both our clients, including Tier 1 banks, and our internal product team.
Responsibilities
- Own and resolve technical requests from clients and internal stakeholders, often to tight deadlines.
- Structure technical data for complex, exotic, and novel trades for platform processing.
- Build and extend the platform's initialization, enrichment, validation, and document-generation layers.
- Adapt existing code and precedents, develop in-house applications (including UIs and AI tools), or design new approaches.
- Become an expert in data flow between the platform's layers, as PRIIP Cloud's inputs and outputs feed many downstream services.
- Assist with client onboarding and integration into our systems.
- Provide insights from clients and the industry to help shape the product's direction.
- Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end engineers, product engineers, quantitative analysts, data analysts, regulatory and legal analysts, and linguists.
- Coordinate and drive cross-functional projects by understanding the work of various teams.
- Work quickly and accurately, utilizing available tools, including in-house AI tools and scripts.
Requirements
- Experience in structured products, OTC derivatives, investment banking, or a similar area, with an interest in tech and coding, OR a technologist with solid coding skills and some financial concept exposure.
- Experience with or aptitude for client-facing technical support.
- Understanding of how technical operations run in a software environment.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and lead projects.
Skills
- Comfort working with XML and JSON.
- Making API calls.
- Reading or writing scripts to debug application logic.
- Programming/scripting language experience (JavaScript, PHP, HTML, Java, XSLT, SQL).
- Logical, structured approach to problems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong reading comprehension for legal and regulatory documents.
- Good organization and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-focused mindset.
- Experience with Agile ways of working.
- Enthusiasm for new tools, technologies, and methods, including AI.
Education Level
- A university degree in any subject.
