About the Role
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team, focusing on modern software engineering principles. Salesforce is central to our sales, retention, partner, and support operations. We utilize a modular DX codebase, enforce clean object-oriented design, build Lightning Web Components to a consistent design system, and adhere to strict code quality and testing practices. This role involves writing clean, decoupled Apex, designing reactive and localized LWC frontends, and working within a modern Git and scratch-org workflow.
Responsibilities
- Turn requirements into technical designs, then deliver Apex and Lightning Web Components for support, sales, KYC, trading account, payment, and partner workflows.
- Work with our trigger framework, Unit of Work, query builder, collection utilities, async actions, and batch frameworks.
- Build reusable Lightning Web Components to our design system, with custom labels for every string and locale-aware formatting.
- Build and maintain REST integrations with payload validation, resilient error handling, and mockable tests.
- Write bulkified, governor-aware code and async pipelines, and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
- Implement permission set groups, custom permissions, sharing, and field-level security for every new feature.
- Write deterministic tests that check behavior, not just coverage.
- Release through scratch orgs, pull requests, and automated validation, from stage to UAT to production.
- Own features from design to production, delivering scalable, well-documented code to our engineering standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development in an enterprise org.
- Strong Apex: triggers, Queueable, Batch and Scheduled jobs, bulkification, and governor limits.
- Strong LWC and modern JavaScript (ES6+): lifecycle hooks, reactivity, and component composition.
- Object-oriented design: SOLID principles and common design patterns.
- REST integrations: outbound callouts, inbound Apex REST, JSON, and Named and External Credentials.
- Solid SOQL skills: selective queries, indexing, and safe dynamic query generation for large data volumes.
- Salesforce DX, sf CLI, Git, GitHub, and a pull-request workflow.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- You read existing code before adding to it, and your changes look like they belong.
- You ask what problem a ticket solves before you estimate it, and flag gaps in a requirement early.
- You support your features after release and fix your own bugs first.
- You communicate clearly with developers, BAs, and QA, including colleagues in other time zones.
- You’re keen to learn the trading domain: accounts, IBs, KYC, and multi-entity regulation.
