About the Role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you will provide Partner-led service and passion for food to customers, ensuring a positive brand experience and fostering customer loyalty. Any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
- Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns for items nearing sell-by dates.
- Supporting the wider shop team with tasks such as checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, and fulfilling on-demand customer orders.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Must be able to work at the specified locations: Edgware Road, High Holborn.
- Must be able to work varied hours of part-time work across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends.
- Must be able to provide working hours availability accurately in the application.
- Some roles may be subject to pre-employment vetting, including DBS checks and financial probity checks.
Skills
- Communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
- Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to support the whole branch.
