About the Role

As a Teacher at Corner School, you will play a key role in our close-knit school community, supporting a small group of children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference every day, helping children overcome barriers to learning and build confidence. You will plan, teach and assess learning for up to 6 children in your class, working closely with your class team, other teachers and the School Leadership Team. You will also guide and support your class-based staff team, creating a calm, structured and nurturing environment where children can feel safe and ready to learn. The current vacancy is for a class of pupils in Years 3 & 4, who are all new to the school this academic year. We are looking for an experienced teacher who can join the positive, energetic, experienced team currently supporting this class. The position is currently vacant so we are particularly interested in hearing from teachers who would be available to take up the role in January 2027 or sooner, but will consider applications from the right candidate for a later start date.
