About the Role
The Vodafone Foundation is rethinking education for the digital society. We research, engage in socio-political debates, and develop innovative educational programs. This internship offers the opportunity to actively shape the digital world and contribute to impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent background research, briefings, and presentations focusing on digital education, educational equity, and digital well-being.
- Actively contribute ideas to the further development of our programs.
- Participate in the conception of studies and events.
- Assist in planning initiatives such as an ideas competition for school classes.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program or in a gap year.
- Studying social sciences, political science, economics, humanities, communication studies, journalism, media studies, or a comparable field.
- Previous work experience in project management, PR/editorial/communication, or research assistance through internships, part-time jobs, or freelance work.
- Basic knowledge of digital communication tools and methods, especially social media.
- High interest in media and societal/political topics.
- Strong interest in foundation work and the topics of education and democracy, with prior knowledge being a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Thorough, proactive, and responsible work ethic.
