About the Role
Shine is a financial copilot for entrepreneurs and small business owners, now part of Cegid, a European leader in cloud software. We are building Europe's leading financial copilot for small businesses and their accountants, supporting over one million small businesses and 15,000 accountants across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Own the Customer Lifecycle roadmap end to end, including onboarding, identity verification, customer data, ongoing monitoring, Re-KYC, account closure, AML, fraud, and account security.
- Set OKRs for the area, connect them to banking tribe objectives, and plan the roadmap as platform capabilities with market rollouts.
- Lead and develop product teams, supporting and challenging PMs and engineering leads.
- Own hiring, performance, and growth in the area, filling open PM seats, and setting the bar for outcome-focused discovery and delivery.
- Deliver onboarding on the new platform in every market: Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, and the France migration, including multi-UBO onboarding, eID, and capital deposit.
- Automate manual work such as onboarding validation, screening escalations, Re-KYC, and account closure.
- Build the customer data platform to hold current company and customer facts from registries and user input.
- Make onboarding embeddable by defining how other Shine products or partners initiate and manage the regulated journey.
- Track key metrics including onboarding conversion, time from application to open account, share of applications approved without manual review, review queue size and handling time, Re-KYC completion, time to close an account, data freshness, fraud losses, and the share of monitoring alerts that are real cases.
Requirements
- 6+ years in product, with several years on onboarding, KYC/KYB, financial crime, or customer data in a bank, payments company, or regulated fintech.
- Shipped products where mistakes have significant regulatory or customer consequences.
- Managed product managers, including hiring at least one.
- Knowledge of KYC, KYB, UBO identification, AML screening, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and periodic review, including differences between EU markets.
- Ability to design review workflows with operations leads and discuss event contracts or data models with engineers.
- Experience building products for both customers and internal operators.
- Worked within a regulated environment and treats compliance as part of the product.
- Ability to make decisions with incomplete data and articulate confidence levels.
- AI-fluent, using AI tooling in personal work and understanding its impact on onboarding and compliance.
