About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, creation, and performance of content that establishes Xelix as a leading authority in AP automation and financial controls. This role is for an individual capable of building systems and scaling operations to consistently deliver content, positioning Xelix as a credible category leader, building trust with sophisticated buying committees, and contributing measurably to pipeline generation.
Responsibilities
- Build and own a scalable content engine, including structured workflows, AI-assisted production, repurposing frameworks, and fast feedback loops, designed to grow in output and quality as Xelix scales.
- Own content performance metrics such as share of voice, content-influenced pipeline, and engagement growth, using data to continuously improve content creation and distribution.
- Own and drive Xelix's thought leadership program, encompassing podcasts, executive and company LinkedIn presence, long-form assets, and PR, to establish Xelix as the category-defining voice in AP automation and financial controls.
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to ensure all content aligns with Xelix's messaging framework, product positioning, and competitive narrative, maintaining consistency across all formats and channels.
- Partner with Demand Generation to ensure content directly supports integrated campaigns and pipeline programs, with assets tailored for enterprise buying committees, key personas, and current buyer research methods.
Requirements
- 7+ years in B2B content marketing with a proven track record of building and scaling thought leadership programs.
- Experience owning content engines end-to-end and creating content that drives category authority and commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with executives and subject matter experts to extract insights and transform them into compelling, authentic content.
- Fluency across the full content mix, including long-form assets, social media, podcasts, PR and earned media, SEO, and AI search, with the judgment to apply each effectively.
- A systems mindset with experience building scalable content workflows from the ground up, utilizing AI tools, automation, and repurposing to maximize output without compromising quality.
- Deep understanding of enterprise buyer personas, buying committees, and how to create content that resonates within a complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycle.
