About the Role
Join our Co-Curricula Educational Program (CCEP) at the Berlin Metropolitan School, supporting children and adolescents in developing their potential through engaging afternoon activities.
Responsibilities
- Accompany children and adolescents in an age-appropriate manner, fostering their development into independent personalities and a sense of community.
- Promote their curiosity, creativity, and joy of movement.
- Develop and lead projects and activities for the after-school and holiday program, including areas like art, literature, theater, music, science, sports, and creative design.
- Support children in developing social skills and respectful interaction.
- Strengthen their motor, physical, and cognitive abilities.
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-recognized educator, a degree in social pedagogy, or a comparable qualification obtained abroad.
- Experience in inclusion, as well as in planning and organizing educational offers or holiday programs is desirable.
- Approaching children with empathy and respect, enjoying teamwork, and communicating clearly.
- Reliably organizing tasks and proficiently using MS Office.
- Very good German and English language skills for working in an international school environment.
- Reflecting on pedagogical work and contributing to joint quality development.
