About the Role
TAWO is building the infrastructure of the future, focusing on electrical engineering for data centers and critical infrastructure. As an AI-first Neo Construction Company, we are a general contractor for electrical engineering and technical building equipment (TGA). We are constructing the technical building equipment that enables progress in data centers, industrial facilities, and logistics centers.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the technical implementation and quality of execution for technical building equipment projects in data centers, industrial facilities, and logistics centers.
- Leading and coordinating site managers, installers, and subcontractors across all project phases.
- Schedule and quality control: Keeping execution on schedule and providing quantity and performance data for cost tracking.
- Technical coordination with clients, specialist planners, and internal stakeholders.
- Technical evaluation of change orders: Identifying and documenting deviations from the scope of work.
- Project handover and acceptance, including commissioning and start-up.
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships on a technical level.
- Contributing to the further development of our processes, tools, and standards, especially TAWO ONE, our proprietary project management platform.
Requirements
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, or industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification (e.g., Master/Technician in Electrical Engineering with project management experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in technical building equipment, electrical engineering, or industrial construction.
- Experience in leading own teams and subcontractors.
- Solid understanding of specifications, relevant standards (VDE), and construction law requirements.
- Experience in data center construction or commissioning processes is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness, and structured work approach.
- Strong communication skills in dealing with clients, planners, and internal teams.
- Willingness to be present on construction sites (approx. 40% travel).
- Fluent German, English is an advantage.
