About the Role
The BeNeLux Institutional Sales Team focuses on new business development and managing existing institutional client relationships. This role supports the BeNeLux team, collaborating with senior sales on commercial activities, pre-sales and post-sales processes, and client activities for the UK client base. It is a fast-paced, challenging position for self-motivated sales professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the external sales team with client and prospect meeting preparation and follow-up.
- Respond to client queries regarding products and services.
- Partner with the external sales team to address daily client inquiries and strengthen sales activity.
- Collaborate with internal functions and product teams to meet client needs.
- Demonstrate a strong team-working attitude and proactively promote new ideas.
- Partner with product specialists on a wide range of Goldman Sachs Asset Management products, from traditional Public Markets to Private Assets.
- Collaborate with support functions (Marketing, Compliance, Operations) to execute business strategy and serve clients.
- Support the Country Head with presentations on market intelligence, business development, financial analysis, and planning.
Requirements
- Native Dutch speaker (written and oral fluency) is essential.
- French language skills are an advantage.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, project management skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of investment funds and financial markets.
- Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Preferable, but not essential, to have some work experience in a global asset management or strategic consulting firm with exposure to the asset management industry.
