About the Role
Skanska is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead business development for Commercial Property Maintenance (CPM), ensuring effective mobilization and operational delivery in line with contract obligations and business processes. The role focuses on achieving margin expectations and high customer satisfaction while maintaining site compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead bid management activities, including preparation, writing, and review of submissions, and support estimating for new and existing business opportunities.
- Ensure full compliance with Skanska pre-contract governance, policies, and procedures across all aspects of service delivery.
- Oversee safe, efficient, and compliant site operations, including set-up and management of properties in line with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop site teams to embed the IFE culture and achieve zero accidents, zero environmental incidents, and zero ethical breaches, while meeting HSWE reporting requirements.
- Manage subcontractor performance and resilience to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery in line with contractual obligations.
- Manage directly employed staff, KPIs, SLAs, and overall contract HSWE performance to ensure service standards, resource efficiency, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering Hard Services contracts within a facilities or building services environment.
- Experience supporting business development and contributing to growth opportunities.
- A management qualification, or equivalent practical leadership experience.
- Experience managing large commercial sites and overseeing high-value service delivery contracts.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and deliver projects on time and within budget, supported by a strong technical background.
