About the Role
We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to get our AI features working for real venues. This role involves working directly with customers to customize AI features, drive adoption, and translate customer patterns into product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own AI adoption for customers end to end.
- Work directly with restaurants and venues to learn how they handle inquiries, menus, and follow-up.
- Identify where AI features fall short for specific customers.
- Customize AI features to meet customer needs and ensure their success.
- Track and improve customizations to drive customer outcomes.
- Translate patterns observed across customers into improvements for the core product.
- Bring engineering the problems worth solving for everyone.
- Help write evaluations to improve AI performance.
Requirements
- Love working with customers, but also have a technical background.
- Have built products where AI features are core to the user experience.
- Familiarity with LLM observability tools.
- Experience as a founder or working at an early-stage startup.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to move quickly.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, or events is a bonus.
