About the Role
As a school companion, you will support a child in participating in lessons and social interaction. You will help them overcome challenges, recognize signs of being overwhelmed early on, and act increasingly independently. You provide security and support the child in discovering and utilizing their own abilities.
Responsibilities

- Provide clear orientation and boundaries.

- Coordinate constructively with teachers, guardians, and our coordination team.
- Be reliably available during school hours on weekday mornings and early afternoons.
Requirements
- Listen, observe attentively, and understand a child's needs.
- Be friendly and clear.
- Remain respectful in tense situations.
- Set boundaries.
- Do not take challenging behavior personally.
- Possess patience, responsibility, and willingness to reflect on your own actions.
- Be available during school hours on weekday mornings and early afternoons.
- Experience with children and adolescents, especially those with special support needs, autism, or ADHD, is welcome.
- A pedagogical or social education is an advantage.
- Motivated career changers with relevant experience and personal suitability are welcome.
- Provide your experiences and explain why you want to accompany a child in their school day.
