About the Role
The Data Foundation team integrates fragmented company-wide data and designs/builds optimal data structures (Ontology) and architectures that AI (LLM, AI Agent, etc.) can immediately understand and utilize. We are looking for someone who deeply understands the data and work context used by each KRAFTON organization and can directly plan and design a data management/utilization system that AI can understand.
Responsibilities
- Directly plan and design the data management and utilization system for the assigned domain.
- Lead the creation and management of design deliverables (Ontology design documents, data models, governance standard documents, etc.).
- Analyze data structures by domain and design Ontology: Analyze source data and business processes within a domain, and proactively design the Ontology (entity, relationship, attribute definitions) structure that AI (LLM, AI Agent) can utilize, then create and manage the Ontology design document.
- Define business terms/metrics and establish data governance standards: In consultation with business stakeholders, establish core terms (Glossary), metric definitions, and data ownership/access rights standards for each domain, and formalize them into governance standard documents.
- Analyze and improve data quality/consistency: Analyze the consistency, completeness, and duplication of source data, derive improvement measures, and reflect them in Ontology design and data construction.
- Analyze requirements with business departments and perform data modeling: Interview practitioners in the assigned organization, analyze business data, and design/build data models (table structures, relationships, hierarchies) suitable for actual query/analysis scenarios, continuously improving them.
Requirements
- Over 7 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or data modeling (including data engineer and data analyst experience).
- Proficient in SQL, capable of exploring and analyzing source data independently to understand its structure.
- Deep understanding of data and processes within a specific business domain, with experience in structuring requirements through communication with business stakeholders and designing them into data models/metric systems.
- Experience in planning and executing data modeling (table design, normalization, relationship definition, etc.).
- Strong willingness to quickly learn new concepts (Ontology, Semantic Layer, etc.) and apply them in practice.
- No disqualifications for overseas business trips.
