About the Role
The Senior Product Manager for Strategic Products is responsible for identifying, shaping, and driving commercial initiatives to achieve sustainable customer, operational, and financial growth. This role balances near-term opportunities with long-term objectives, ensuring product decisions align with the organization's strategic direction. The role involves collaboration across Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and Finance to develop recommendations, influence strategic decisions, and lead cross-functional execution for transformational business outcomes. It requires strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and influencing skills to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive results through others. As a leader within the Home Internet business, this role shapes the future direction of the portfolio while promoting a culture of commercial excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and prioritize strategic product and commercial opportunities that support business growth, customer outcomes, and profitability.
- Develop product and commercial strategies that align near-term priorities with the long-term direction of the business.
- Evaluate market, customer, competitor, and industry trends to identify opportunities, risks, and strategic implications.
- Use market intelligence, customer insights, and performance analytics to challenge existing thinking, inform strategic direction, and identify new sources of growth.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Technology, Customer, Networks, Finance, and Data & Insights to align priorities and deliver strategic business outcomes.
- Influence product, customer, and operational roadmaps to ensure portfolio objectives are reflected in enterprise priorities and delivery plans.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering strategic thinking, commercial capability, and a focus on delivering business-wide outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in a commercial, product, or business-related field working on pricing, strategy, and/or commercial models.
- Proven experience in translating data, insights, and ideas into executable initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail with sound commercial acumen.
- Strong presentation skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage rapid change and a fast pace with resilience and a positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, with strong stakeholder impact and influence capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Previous Telecommunications experience is a plus.
- Degree qualified, ideally in business, economics, finance/accounting.
