About the Role
Advantage Angels is recruiting Travelling Healthcare Assistants for flexible agency shifts across London and the wider Greater London area. This role is ideal for experienced HCAs who want maximum variety, the chance to work across different settings and boroughs, and the freedom to choose every shift they work. You will work across care homes, nursing homes and supported living services throughout London. Where travel or overnight stays are required, costs and accommodation are covered by Advantage Angels.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities across a range of care settings
- Support mobility, comfort and wellbeing of service users
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Work alongside Registered Nurses and wider care teams across multiple settings
- Maintain accurate care records in line with CQC standards
- Adapt quickly to different care environments, client groups and working practices
- Represent Advantage Angels professionally in every placement
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months paid UK care experience in a care home, nursing home or hospital setting
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Willingness and ability to travel across Greater London and surrounding areas
- The right to work in the UK
- No criminal convictions
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different settings, client groups and boroughs
- Up to date mandatory training certificates including a practical moving and handling certificate
- Confident using a floor hoist, Sara Steady and other moving and handling equipment
