About the Role
Manage international localisation projects for leading entertainment clients, working across multilingual translation and subtitling. Collaborate with clients and colleagues globally to deliver content to diverse markets. This role is suited for individuals skilled in coordinating multiple projects, managing stakeholders, and problem-solving in a dynamic production setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from brief receipt through planning, scheduling, budgeting, delivery, invoicing, and post-project review.
- Coordinate multilingual translation, dubbing, and subtitling workflows, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and quality-standard project delivery.
- Monitor project finances, including budgets, supplier costs, client invoicing, and change orders, to meet profitability targets.
- Support Sales and Account Management during quoting by providing operational input, timelines, and cost information.
- Develop a strong understanding of VSI's services to advise clients and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, arranging meetings or calls for complex projects.
- Understand client requirements, provide advice, resolve issues using sound judgment, and escalate when appropriate.
- Prepare accurate project updates and reports for Account Managers and the Head of Department.
- Maintain complete and accurate project data in internal systems, processing invoices promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, account performance, and operational processes.
- Complete project administration and other operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Brazilian Portuguese at CEFR C2 level, or equivalent proficiency, with excellent command of grammar, idiom, and cultural nuance.
- Previous project management experience in localisation, media, or a comparable fast-paced production environment.
- Good understanding of dubbing workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Collaborative approach and ability to coordinate multimedia requirements across production teams while maintaining consistency.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines calmly and accurately.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and sound problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability when requirements or priorities change at short notice.
- Excellent attention to detail and a consistent commitment to client service.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with OOONA or a similar project management platform is advantageous.
- Knowledge of subtitling specifications and tools is also advantageous.
