About the Role
REPAY is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Owner to drive the product roadmap for external customers of our Business Payments platform. This role owns the product experience for customers, vendors, and partners interacting with our platform, including ERP and other integrated systems. You will translate user needs into product decisions to simplify, accelerate, and enhance business payments, making a significant impact on daily user operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify market opportunities and align product vision and strategy with a rolling four-quarter roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Sales, Technology, Operations, customers, vendors, and partners to drive product innovation.
- Own the roadmap for REPAY's ERP and embedded integrations, ensuring consistent integration experiences and clear communication.
- Execute product initiatives through close coordination with Engineering and QA teams.
- Engage with cross-functional teams for integrated roadmap capabilities and Go-to-Market efforts.
- Improve external customer experience to drive product usability, task efficiency, and adoption.
- Maintain expert product and market knowledge for the Business Payments vertical.
- Manage the Product backlog to rapidly deliver customer value.
- Collaborate with Technology to prioritize technology and security maintenance.
- Apply AI tools (LLMs, copilots, automation) to product workflows like research synthesis, requirements development, and prototyping.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in business payments and financial technology.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or platform integrations (e.g., Sage, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, Yardi, NetSuite), including owning, configuring, or building product requirements for API- or file-based integrations.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools within product management workflows (competitive research, requirements drafting, user story generation, PRD creation, POC construction, stakeholder communication).
- Ability to build requirements from stakeholder input and translate them into user stories for engineering teams.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology and direct engagement with technical engineering teams.
- Proven ability to define, instrument, and monitor user-facing metrics to identify friction points and prioritize improvements.
- Well-organized and thorough, capable of analyzing technical and business questions while balancing competing priorities.
- Highly adaptable with a bias toward action, collaboration, and continuous improvement, including staying current on AI's impact on FinTech Product Management.
