About the Role
You'll help prospective customers understand Refractal's value proposition and lead technical discovery and evaluations, ensuring smooth customer transitions into deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery to understand customers' security priorities, existing tools, data availability and deployment constraints.
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to the customer's use cases and questions.
- Design and run proofs of value with agreed success criteria, realistic scope, and clear reporting of results.
- Assess integration readiness, troubleshoot evaluation issues, and coordinate with engineers for deeper product work.
- Support technical due diligence and handovers, documenting requirements, commitments, and open questions.
- Incorporate customer feedback into product discussions.
Requirements
- Experience explaining technical products to customers or solving technical problems with external stakeholders.
- Understanding of security operations, including tools, telemetry, and workflows.
- Practical ability to work with APIs, inspect data, and write scripts for demonstrations, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to translate broad customer problems into testable requirements and communicate outcomes clearly.
- Sound judgment regarding product capabilities, with confidence to discuss limitations and manage expectations.
- Experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing security delivery.
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms like Splunk and enterprise security evaluations.
- Experience presenting AI or security technology to both technical and business audiences.
