Responsibilities

Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
Safely drive and perform vehicle safety inspections.
Follow all local and state laws, road and driving regulations, and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events or conditions.
Work in all weather conditions and on varied routes.
Frequently lift and lower packages up to 50 pounds.
Tilt, push, or slide packages weighing 50–70 pounds on and off a hand truck without a helper.
Repeatedly enter and exit the delivery van throughout the shift.
Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
Use smartphone technology to navigate GPS directions, scan packages, communicate with team members, and clock in and out of shifts.
Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle.
Support the team with route rescues as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass a 4-panel drug screening. Pre-employment marijuana testing is excluded.
Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record. Multiple violations can disqualify a candidate.
Sufficient English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills required for safety and delivery instructions, reading road signs, using delivery tools, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
