About the Role
Forward Deployed Engineering is the team that makes our customers' businesses succeed by embedding with strategic customers to understand their needs and build what their launch requires. You'll report to our CTO and act as a product engineer whose roadmap comes from a live customer.
Responsibilities
- Deploy into customer contexts and iterate daily with customer teams.
- Scope the build with the customer, working out what to build and why.
- Build across the full stack, including new account infrastructure, blockchain integrations, API endpoints, and compliance workflows.
- Generalize bespoke implementations into first-class platform features.
- Prototype rapidly, ship carefully, and debug production issues in real time.
- Design for correctness and auditability, considering failure modes.
- Communicate crisply with customer stakeholders and internal product leads.
Requirements
- You are a builder first and ship production-grade, full-stack work.
- You are AI-native and comfortable using agentic tools.
- You are energized by customers and comfortable operating directly with enterprise engineering teams.
- You are obsessed with correctness and resilience, thinking carefully about failure scenarios.
- Experience with payments and fintech infrastructure is a strong plus.
- Experience with blockchain and stablecoin integration is a strong plus.
- A forward-deployed or solutions architect background where you built rather than configured is a strong plus.
