About the Role
At PPRO, Senior Software Engineers make significant decisions impacting the company's success. You will be a key contributor to your team's product, culture, and spirit, solving complex technical problems, influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, and contributing to the codebase.
Responsibilities
- Own products and services end-to-end, from requirements till deployment in production systems.
- Collaborate and grow in a dynamic and autonomous environment within small, agile teams.
- Be an integral part of a team, contributing to its culture and ways of working.
- Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for customers at a massive scale.
- Take full operational responsibility for owned services.
- Share knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices.
Requirements
- Results-orientation, collaborative, pragmatic, and with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Multiple experiences working with one or more general-purpose programming languages including Java.
- Experience designing and building scalable products and services.
- Experience with the cloud (preferably AWS).
- Great problem solving abilities.
- Working proficiency in English.
- Experience with, or strong interest in, accounting systems or ledgers is a distinct advantage.
