About the Role

Carhartt WIP is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to work at our Toronto retail store. The ideal candidate will provide a positive store experience for our customers and possess strong product knowledge to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

Engage and connect with customers to create a positive shopping experience.
Execute on-floor, in-person sales strategies.
Share product knowledge with customers to maximize sales.
Engage with customers to build relationships and brand knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of seasonal collections and current available inventory.
Assist with daily opening and closing tasks to maintain a clean, neat, and tidy store.
Merchandise, stock the sales floor, and process payments.
Remain positive and professional, working with the team to create a great environment for our brand, our customers, and each other.

Requirements

Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (including evenings and weekends).
Bend, lift, open, and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed.
1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
Independent, proactive, and reliable work ethic.

Skills

Interest in contemporary fashion, apparel, and pop culture.
Knowledge of basic sales techniques.
Outgoing, positive, affable demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
