About the Role
Squad Health is seeking a fullstack engineer to scale its specialty medication access platform for independent specialty providers. This role offers exposure across the entire technology stack, from developing provider-facing features to scaling integrations and building AI for medication prior authorizations and appeals. The platform utilizes various AI modalities, providing an opportunity to build a full-stack AI-native product. The engineer will collaborate closely with the engineering team, founders, and operations staff, owning projects from inception to outcome and maintaining a high standard for system design, product development, and company culture.
Responsibilities
- Ship powerful provider-facing features
- Scale integrations that automate the work for tens of thousands of prescriptions per week
- Build AI for medication prior authorizations, appeals, and more
- Work closely with the entire engineering team, learning quickly from areas of expertise
- Collaborate with founders, other engineers, and operations and provider success on complex product problems
- Own projects from inception to outcome
- Define company culture and set norms
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as a full stack software engineer
- Proven track record of building and maintaining full stack web applications
- Track record of moving quickly and delivering outstanding outcomes at fast-growing, product-driven companies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective internal collaboration and external representation
