About the Role
We are seeking a skilled technician to join our established independent garage in Sidcup. This role offers good pay, no weekend work, a relaxed working environment, and genuine opportunities for progression. We value individuals who take pride in their work and desire to be treated with respect.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems.
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
- Conduct MOT preparation and repairs.
- Handle tyre and puncture repairs.
- Perform air-conditioning servicing.
- Conduct vehicle inspections.
- Identify and recommend additional work required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on different makes and models.
- A good eye for detail.
- Pride in workmanship.
- A reliable, professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
