About the Role
MAGIC AI is seeking a freelance content creator to document the company's journey in real-time. This role involves capturing content during various activities, including meetings, events, and global travel, and editing it for immediate posting.
Responsibilities
- Act as a shadow with a camera 1-2 days a week, capturing content at the office, workouts, boardrooms, awards shows, live events, and during travel.
- Shoot reels, short-form video, photos, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Edit all content, including hooks, captions, pacing, sound, and thumbnails.
- Own the content calendar and post or schedule content weekly.
- Generate content ideas, pitch formats, write hooks, and identify filming opportunities.
- Analyze content performance monthly and optimize based on results.
- Pull ideas from the CEO, pitch formats, write hooks, and identify moments worth filming.
Requirements
- A portfolio of short-form content shot and edited by the applicant, ideally for a founder or creator.
- Own equipment including camera, microphone, and lighting.
- Proficiency in editing software such as CapCut, Premiere, or similar.
- Obsession with creating engaging content with strong hooks and high hook rates.
- Availability in London on short notice.
- Ability to edit and prepare filmed content for posting rapidly, within minutes or hours.
