About the Role

We are actively seeking individuals with talent and expertise in the Senior Property Assessor role to join our growing talent pool. If this opportunity interests you, we welcome you to submit an application and we will reach out to you should a suitable position arise.

Responsibilities

Maintain timely delivery of property claims outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations throughout the life of a claim.
Liaise with claimants, repairers, and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision-making and life-of-claim outcomes.
Assess indemnity, liability of claims, costs, and the validity of building and remediation scope of works.
Assess remediation and make-safe claims and costs.
Review building and remediation cause of damage reports, including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
Identify defects and non-compliance repairs utilizing Australian Standards and National Construction Code.

Requirements

Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF.
Extensive property assessing and customer service experience.
Comprehensive technical knowledge of insurance and loss theories and practices.
Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks, and manage competing resources and demands.
Demonstrated technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
