About the Role
The Architectural Designer is responsible for developing and documenting Cedar projects, contributing to exceptional customer outcomes through streamlined design processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage creativity at a technology startup focused on solving real-world problems, with chances to learn and grow architectural design skills while gaining cross-functional experience. Responsibilities
- Model Residential Projects in both Revit and Cedar’s proprietary software
- Create Construction Documents
- Assist with presentations
- Learn about and contribute to agentic workflows that improve quality and accuracy of architectural outcomes
- Grow architectural skill set to gain greater autonomy and advance career
- Increase technical skills and knowledge base regarding all aspects of architecture and construction
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in an architectural office working on projects
- Strong design and documentation skills in Revit
- Proficiency in Rhino or Enscape is a plus
- A strong communicator with excellent graphic, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn from mentors and implement new skills
- Strong organizational skills allowing quick task switching and project progression
- Enthusiastic and positive with a collaborative attitude
- Proactive self-starter not afraid of challenges
- Curious about improving workflows, tools, and systems that streamline design and preconstruction processes
- Motivated to deliver real housing incomes in growing urban environments
