About the Role
DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking individuals to join their team to redefine what’s possible in the sports retail industry. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by connecting athletes with the right products and providing expert advice.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs.
- Provide clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
- Anticipate athlete needs and drive sales through product and service recommendations.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new and existing team members.
- Serve as a go-to expert in designated process categories.
- Demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset.
- Ensure products are ready for athletes to purchase.
- Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards.
- Promote and drive customer participation in company programs.
- Create a store environment where everyone is always welcome and treated with respect.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews.
- AI tools are not permitted to be used by the candidate during any part of the interview process.
- Offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check which may include ID verification.
