About the Role
Mexican Sugar is seeking a smart, stylish, and experienced bartender to provide guests with a Fresher, Lighter, Better Latin experience through fresh-crafted cocktails and luxurious service.
Responsibilities
- Channel the sultry Mexican comfort of our restaurants
- Possess unparalleled tequila, wine, and beer knowledge
- Craft cocktails from only the freshest ingredients
- Remain two steps ahead of guest needs
- Inspire teammates to seek assistance
- Understand the balance of showmanship and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years bartending experience (LBW experience)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
- Practice proper sanitation procedures
- Follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
