About the Role
As a Software Engineer Intern on the B2B-ADM team, you will help build intelligent backend services and data pipelines that power customer facing workflows and AI assisted features. You will work on well scoped features that make our platform more proactive and useful, helping customers move from manual, ad hoc work with their agreements to guided experiences that highlight what matters and suggest next steps. You will collaborate closely with your mentor and the broader engineering team, gaining experience in backend services, data flows, and AI assisted workflows in a production environment using technologies like C#, Azure, Postgres, and Cosmos DB. This is an internship role for 4 months of duration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your mentor and the engineering team to design and implement scoped backend features in C# for agreement centric products and services
- Contribute to services and workflows running on Azure that prepare suggested actions and insights for human review, with clear and explainable reasoning behind each suggestion
- Help build and maintain reliable, testable services and data pipelines using data stores such as Postgres and Cosmos DB, including unit and integration tests and basic observability such as logging and metrics
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and demos, and incorporate feedback from senior engineers to grow your technical and collaboration skills
- Work with product and other partners to understand user needs and translate them into well structured engineering tasks under guidance
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a relevant field with an expected graduation date between May/June 2027 and December 2027
- Experience with at least one programming language used for backend or services development
- Coursework or project experience in data structures, algorithms, and fundamental software engineering practices such as version control, testing, and debugging
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment, communicate clearly about progress and blockers, and show willingness to learn from feedback
- Demonstrated ability to break down loosely defined problems into smaller tasks and deliver incremental improvements with guidance
- Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.
