About the Role
The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion and styling, with the ability to cultivate and grow a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role involves setting and achieving sales goals, building customer relationships, and providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools.
- Build lasting relationships with customers.
- Provide customers with honest and confident feedback on style and fit.
- Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise.
- Work with the team to keep the department customer-ready, including order fulfillment, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
- Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
- Be flexible to occasionally perform work/duties in a department other than the one hired into.
Requirements

- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
