About the Role
The Process Innovation team is responsible for improving all internal and external processes that occur from service launch to daily operations in Rocket Now Merchant onboarding. Team members may visit stores, attend meetings with external partners, and collaborate with various internal departments. Experience in process design, analysis, and operations is essential, with knowledge of various IT technologies being a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, redesign, standardize, and scale internal and external workflows across the entire merchant lifecycle, including onboarding, menu/catalog management, store launch, daily operations, and settlement.
- Design and implement automated communication and operational workflows using tools like Slack Workflows, Google Sheets, Salesforce, and Webhooks to reduce manual operations, expedite merchant setup, and streamline issue escalation.
- Conduct store visits and merchant operation audits to identify operational bottlenecks, evaluate store-level workflows, and translate on-site challenges into scalable operational solutions.
- Act as a liaison between process owners and technical departments to facilitate smooth inter-departmental handoffs and resolve operational issues or redundancies.
- Build automated data pipelines and dashboards to visualize metrics such as onboarding processing volume, catalog response time, settlement accuracy, and overall lead time. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and change management guidelines.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in Process Design, Operations Excellence, Business Operations, or Management Consulting within the EC, delivery platform, retail, or O2O industry.
- Advanced data processing and data modeling skills using SQL, Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VBA/macros), and Google Sheets (Google Apps Script).
- Hands-on experience in operational process management and data tracking using Slack (Slack Workflows, various integrations) and Salesforce.
- Experience building no-code/low-code operational automation and notification flows, such as integrating Slack Workflows with Google Sheets/Salesforce.
- Proven track record of identifying operational bottlenecks through data utilization and driving cross-functional improvement projects with clear KPIs.
- Practical mindset to actively conduct site visits, visualize workflows, and interview frontline staff.
- Business-level English proficiency.
