About the Role
Atlassian is seeking a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager to lead and deliver high-priority, complex programs across Enterprise and Emerging Businesses. This individual contributor role focuses on bringing clarity to ambiguous problems, aligning senior leaders, and establishing mechanisms to achieve measurable customer and business outcomes. You will partner with various departments on initiatives spanning multiple teams and time horizons, driving strategic transformations and elevating the program management craft.
Responsibilities

- Lead complex, cross-functional delivery by orchestrating end-to-end execution across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, Legal, Security, IT, and external partners.
- Manage dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and readiness across organizational boundaries.
- Turn ambiguity into clarity by framing poorly defined problems, establishing decision forums, clarifying ownership, and creating alignment.
- Drive strategic launches and transformations, including market-facing launches, product integrations, and enterprise-readiness efforts.
- Influence senior leaders by building trusted relationships, providing concise recommendations, and escalating issues appropriately.
- Establish durable mechanisms for planning, dependency management, risk assessment, readiness, governance, and benefits realization.
- Measure business impact by defining success metrics and tracking customer outcomes, adoption, revenue, and delivery performance.
- Raise the craft bar by mentoring program managers and evolving technical program management practices.
- Lead through influence by mobilizing teams without formal authority and creating an environment of accountability and transparency.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in technical program management, product/program leadership, software development, engineering operations, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-team or portfolio-level initiatives with sustained impact.
- Proven success delivering large-scale technology programs, product launches, platform integrations, migrations, monetization initiatives, or enterprise-readiness programs.
- Strong understanding of software development and technology delivery, including modern practices, Agile methodologies, dependency management, technical risk, and operational readiness.
- Track record of translating business strategy into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex scenarios and communicate with precision to senior audiences.
- Experience influencing across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, Legal, Security, IT, and other partner organizations without direct authority.
- Strong systems-thinking skills and a record of improving operating models or delivery quality at scale.
- Experience using data, customer insight, and business metrics to assess progress and demonstrate impact.
