About the Role
This role involves troubleshooting manufacturing issues, supporting equipment setup, and maintaining process documentation. It also includes providing on-floor support, participating in continuous improvement, collecting production data, and supporting engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot basic manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support equipment setup, process checks, and routine adjustments.
- Help maintain accurate work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
- Provide on-floor support to operators and technicians.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, waste reduction, and workflow optimization.
- Collect production data, perform simple analyses and prepare reports.
- Develop new fixtures, jigs and tools.
- Support engineering projects by completing assigned tasks such as data gathering, documentation updates, and basic validation activities.
- Prepare materials for new product introductions and/or engineering changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of improvements.
Requirements
- Occasional travel of up to 10% is required to support activities at other company sites, customer locations, or off-site facilities.
