About the Role
BluePearl Pet Hospital is establishing a new multi-disciplinary hospital in Austin, TX, opening in December 2026. We are seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our state-of-the-art facility, offering a significant opportunity to impact patients, associates, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency veterinary care in a state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital.
- Contribute to building and developing the Emergency service in a new facility.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality in patient care.
- Continuously improve skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Utilize strong decision-making, analytical capacity, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Manage multitasking and prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree.
- Valid state veterinary license.
- Unwavering commitment to emergency care.
- Self-directed and committed ongoing learner.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Google Apps for Work is a plus.
- Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software is a plus.
