About the Role

Pace is seeking a Product Partnerships leader to build and manage the technology ecosystem that enhances Pace's capabilities and value for leading insurers. This role involves strategic relationship management with AI labs, insurance platforms, and data providers to create differentiated product features, integrations, and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Own Pace's product and technology partnerships, building senior relationships and joint plans with AI labs, core systems of record, insurance software platforms, data providers, cloud providers, and marketplaces.
  • Define the product-partnership strategy by prioritizing partners and opportunities based on customer demand, product differentiation, revenue potential, and strategic leverage.
  • Create joint customer value propositions by identifying opportunities for Pace agents to combine with partner models, data, workflows, or platforms to solve insurance operations problems.
  • Shape integrations and product roadmaps by working with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams to scope connectors, workflows, and deployment patterns.
  • Develop new commercial models, including co-sell, resell, marketplace, licensing, white-label, and embedded product opportunities.
  • Turn partnerships into revenue by building joint business plans, account maps, and launch plans, and partnering with Sales to track pipeline and ARR.
  • Lead complex cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment across partner product teams, Pace engineers, customer stakeholders, and GTM teams.
  • Build technical credibility with frontier partners by developing a deep understanding of Pace's architecture, capabilities, and APIs.
  • Measure and improve partnership health by establishing objectives and operating cadences for roadmap progress, adoption, pipeline, revenue, reliability, and customer outcomes.
  • Scale the operating model by building playbooks, governance, and internal processes for managing a growing product-partner ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product partnerships, platform partnerships, business development, product strategy, or a similar cross-functional role in AI, enterprise SaaS, fintech, or insurtech.
  • Proven experience taking technical partnerships from idea to launch, including product scoping, commercial structuring, integration delivery, and go-to-market activation.
  • Technical fluency to credibly engage with product and engineering leaders on APIs, data flows, models, security, deployment architecture, and integration tradeoffs.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous strategic relationships into focused roadmaps, business cases, and executable joint plans.
  • Understanding of platform and ecosystem business models, including co-sell, resell, marketplaces, embedded products, licensing, and white-label structures.
  • Customer-centric approach, distinguishing strategically valuable integrations from partnership theater.
  • Effective communication skills with executives, coupled with the ability to work through detailed product, commercial, and delivery issues.
  • Ability to build trust and create alignment across diverse teams (Product, Engineering, Applied AI, Sales, Legal, Security, partners) without formal authority.
  • High-ownership mindset with accountability for shipped capabilities and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with frontier AI labs, insurance core platforms, insurance data providers, cloud marketplaces, or enterprise technology ecosystems is a plus.
  • Existing relationships with companies like Anthropic, OpenAI, Guidewire, Verisk, or Vertafore is a plus.
  • Prior startup experience is a plus.
