About the Role
Renewal by Andersen seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join their financial services team. This role offers opportunities for training and advancement within a stable industry and a great team environment. The successful candidate will be a resourceful, independent self-starter with strong attention to detail, capable of handling high daily volumes of payments, invoices, and project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Process daily customer payments received by cash, check, credit card, and loan funding, and apply them to the correct accounts in the accounting system and Salesforce.
- Prepare and balance cash and check deposits, and reconcile daily payment batches, credit card activity, and loan funding to bank and merchant records. Research and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process customer refunds and post them in Salesforce.
- Post vendor invoices and enter customer invoices in the accounting system.
- Prepare and review project close-out packets daily, verifying that all paperwork is accurate and complete before the project is closed.
- Perform other similar tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Excel proficiency including basic formulas is required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to enter data proficiently and accurately with attention to detail.
