About the Role
The Catering Specialist Intern will support the Hospitality and Catering Sales Manager in various catering tasks, focusing on providing superior customer service and managing catering orders.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer experience for every order.
- Take seasonal catering orders by phone, answering questions, providing details, and ensuring customers understand the items and services offered.
- Edit orders in CRM system.
- Communicate with stores regarding new and existing catering orders.
- Deliver Catering Orders.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in various computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility in schedule.
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 30 lbs.
- Independent and reliable local travel up to 10% of the time.
