About the Role
As a Principal at Ode, you will act as a fractional Chief AI Transformation Officer for clients, serving as the CEO's trusted advisor to guide their company into the AI era. You will own the entire process from winning business to embedding with leadership, identifying AI opportunities, and mobilizing engineering teams to deliver tangible results.
Responsibilities
- Win business by converting executive relationships into signed engagements.
- Act as a fractional Chief AI Transformation Officer, advising CEOs on AI strategy.
- Diagnose AI opportunities and shape actionable paths for businesses.
- Mobilize delivery teams to quickly stand up engagements and focus on outcomes.
- Own and grow client relationships beyond the initial project.
- Orchestrate work that ships value, rather than producing non-actionable reports.
Requirements
- Ability to earn executive trust quickly and be seen as a go-to advisor.
- Compelling communication skills for all audiences, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated learning agility and curiosity, with a track record of becoming an expert quickly.
- Ability to ramp up and become an expert in new technical and industry topics within 90 days.
- Engage technical leaders as a peer.
- Translate AI's enterprise value into actionable business plans.
- Build durable, high-trust, long-term relationships.
- Be a collaborative partner to engineering and PM teams, helping resolve blockers.
- Recognize opportunities to advance and win business.
- Possess commercial drive, urgency, and finesse to close deals.
