About the Role
Take on a new challenge and apply your risk management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven teammates and lead the Risk Management function in the Project team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks, savings, and opportunities within our projects.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the deployment of the Risk Management strategy for the project
- Leading the governance of project risks, opportunities and contingency management
- Ensuring full adherence to Alstom risk management process as well as project members are trained in Risk Management through seminars and training courses
- Supporting project teams in identifying and assessing risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions
- Leading brainstorming sessions for risk, saving, and opportunity identification
- Collaborating with risk owners to define, implement, and monitor mitigation actions
- Developing scoring rationales for risks and opportunities, and integrating them into project schedules and budgets
- Supporting contract, commercial and bid teams with risk-based decision making
- Performing integrated quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses using Risk Management software
- Ensure effective integration of risk management into project controls, cost management and schedule management processes
- Delivering clear, actionable risk reporting and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Monitoring and reporting risk KPIs and ensuring quality standards are met
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in risk management
- Experience with Monte Carlo Risk Assessment tools
- Proficiency in QCRA and QSRA for multi-million-dollar railway or infrastructure projects
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Strong analytical skills for risk and opportunity assessments
- Project management experience
- Good knowledge of railway products and systems
- Experience working with internal processes (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and their interfaces)
