About the Role
VMG Labs is seeking an experienced SAP Controlling (CO) Lead to join a Finance transformation team, supporting a global leader in supply chain solutions and advanced manufacturing services. You will design and deliver scalable SAP solutions aligned to business objectives, working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into effective SAP CO solutions. Strong hands-on SAP ECC experience is required; exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, validation, and deployment of SAP CO solutions aligned with business needs and transformation goals.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and drive solution decisions.
- Configure and support SAP Controlling (CO) for Make-to-Order (MTO) and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes, including standard costing, actual costing, cost component structures and splits, overhead costing, variance analysis, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), allocations and assessments, and period-end closing activities.
- Provide functional leadership, ensure solution governance and quality standards, and support successful delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Controlling (CO).
- Proven expertise in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Make-to-Order (MTO) business processes.
- Strong experience with Product Costing (CO-PC), including costing design and period-end processes.
- Experience in complex global manufacturing environments preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to lead teams, influence decision-making, and collaborate across business and IT organizations.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and able to travel internationally without restriction (valid passport).
- Project Costing preferred.
- Revenue Recognition using the RA key preferred.
