About the Role
We are seeking an individual to own our X and LinkedIn presence, creating content and driving conversations. This role extends beyond social media to include events, advertising, and technical content to aid in recruiting engineers. You will be responsible for making General Compute a recognized name both online and in person.
Responsibilities
- Own X and LinkedIn end-to-end, capturing moments and driving daily conversation without founder input.
- Run founder-led social media, shaping their public voice and growing their presence.
- Attend hackathons and industry events to create and publish content live on the same day.
- Organize and execute in-person events, dinners, office activations, and out-of-home campaigns.
- Develop a recruiting channel through credible technical content to attract senior engineers and customers.
Requirements
- Active and credible online presence on X and/or LinkedIn.
- Comfortable generating live, in-the-moment content.
- Enjoys participating in real-world events like hackathons and dinners.
- Sufficient technical fluency or a strong desire to build it for credible engineering content.
- Demonstrates full ownership by identifying and addressing needs proactively.
