About the Role
Full-time live-out nanny needed for a SoHo family with an infant daughter, starting no later than early January 2027. Responsibilities include all child-related duties, providing nurturing and engaging care, and becoming a long-term partner in the child's development. The ideal candidate is calm, warm, loves children, and is confident with infant and toddler milestones.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing and proactive care for an infant daughter.
- Interact with the child in an engaging, loving, and age-appropriate way.
- Manage all child-related duties.
- Prepare meals for the child.
- Clean and tidy the child's bedroom and play areas.
- Handle the child's laundry.
- Research and plan playdates and activities.
- Navigate internal stairs in the apartment.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the US.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a nanny, with specific experience caring for infants.
- A well-suited demeanor for working with infants and eventual toddlers.
- Desire to grow with the family.
- Exceptional childcare references attesting to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity, and high emotional intelligence.
- Proven tenure with multiple families, including excellent references.
- Education or equivalent knowledge of child growth and development stages.
- An open and flexible schedule, able to adapt to family needs.
- Ability to complete all child-related duties.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- German fluency is desired but not required.

- $33 - $38 per hour (guaranteed hours as W2 employee)
- Overtime paid at x1.5 rate for hours over 40
- Potential for higher rate for German fluency
