About the Role
CLA is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Southern Minnesota offices, servicing clients in Mankato, Austin, New Ulm, Owatonna, and Rochester. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, handling client inquiries, conducting tax research, and developing team members.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team.
- Handle routine client tax questions and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
- Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
- Prepare simple tax returns.
- Develop and train team interns.
- Work with clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.

Experience Level
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior experience via internship(s) may be acceptable).
Education Level

- Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $53,700.00 - $93,000.00
