About the Role
Shape how Qonto connects to the rest of its customers' world by building the Public API strategy. This role involves creating a reliable and consistent API that powers integrations, partners, MCP, and Qonto Embed, turning connectivity into a growth engine for the company's all-in-one and upmarket ambitions. You will report to Fanny, who leads Qonto Connect, and own the product and governance framework for API development across Qonto teams.
Responsibilities
- Define the Public API strategy and roadmap.
- Make the API a reliable foundation for connectivity.
- Define a shared framework for consistent API endpoint development and partner self-service.
- Partner with PMs and engineering managers to align priorities and integrate API needs into their roadmaps.
Requirements
- Solid product management experience.
- Comfortable owning a product that every other team contributes to.
- Experience building and defending a product roadmap.
- Experience working on an API, integration, platform, or developer-facing product (a plus).
- Ability to learn technical topics quickly.
- Comfortable getting hands-on with API documentation and working closely with engineers.
- Experience aligning multiple teams around a shared product without hierarchical authority.
- Clear communication with PMs, engineers, and senior stakeholders.
- Consideration of the impact of plans on all teams.
- Fintech, payments, or partner-integration background (nice to have).
- Curiosity for AI tools and vibe coding (nice to have).
