About the Role

IONOS is seeking a procurement professional to manage the procurement of goods and services in the data center sector for the US, UK, and Spanish markets. This role involves executing and negotiating agreements, conducting market analysis, and supporting technical departments globally. The position requires a proactive approach to process development and ensuring compliance within an international context.

Responsibilities

Procure goods and services in the data centre sector for the US, UK, and Spanish markets.
Execute and negotiate supplier and framework agreements in collaboration with technical departments.
Analyze markets and suppliers in the US, UK, and Spain to identify suitable suppliers and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with and support technical departments, including those outside the specified markets.
Manage RFP processes and supplier qualification and certification.
Handle procurement processes using the P2P system landscape (Coupa).
Ensure adherence to internal procurement guidelines and compliance requirements.
Contribute to the continuous development of procurement processes in an international context.

Requirements

Several years of professional experience in procurement, ideally within the data centre or IT infrastructure sector.
Sound technical and commercial expertise.
Knowledge of procuring data centre-specific goods (e.g., electrical/cooling technology, long-lead equipment) is an advantage.
Market knowledge in the USA, the UK, and Spain.
Strong analytical and financial acumen.
Experience in leading contract negotiations.
Practical experience with P2P systems, ideally Coupa.
A determined, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
