About the Role
This internship offers a motivated individual strong exposure to the buy-side industry, specifically the private debt market. You will be responsible for evaluating, executing, and monitoring private debt transactions within the Private Debt team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out sector research, including market analysis and competitive positioning.
- Maintain updated and accurate deal-related data.
- Assist in analyzing investment opportunities.
- Perform initial deal review and screening.
- Support and participate in due diligence and deal structuring.
- Participate in the evaluation of potential investments and drafting memos.
- Contribute to the creation and review of financial models.
- Provide analyses of companies and financial data, and conduct research.
- Attend various committees and meetings with stakeholders, including management, consultants, lawyers, and bankers.
- Actively participate in all deal processes.
- Provide assistance for other projects as needed.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
- Must be willing to learn and proactively support the team.
- Must possess strong analytical skills.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter and independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
